This sketch by Bromo Lizarraga of a DNA double-helix was found in a satchel of matchbooks and ephemera purchased at a thrift store in Van Horn, Texas in 1998. It was then bought on Craig’s List by Carlos Grasso of Dumfuxx for an undisclosed amount to use for the project. Note the similarity to future images of DNA strands.
